The new 3M™ Littmann®Classic III™ stethoscope with a satin marine blue finish is the latest version of the stethoscope that is already helping millions of healthcare professionals get the best possible results. It provides high acoustic sensitivity for exceptional performance and a versatile two-sided bell with tuned diaphragms. At the same time, the Littmann Classic III stethoscope is used by both students and healthcare professionals in order to identify, hear, and study the body’s heart, pulmonary, and other sounds, for fitness assessment, patient monitoring, and diagnosis. The satin finish does not only contribute to the aesthetic result. It offers a softer, silkier feel, stain-resistant. It stands out for its easy cleaning and has flexibility that makes it easier to fit into lab gowns. Dual-frequency diaphragm technology—a 3M patent—allows the clinician to hear sounds of different frequencies by simply adjusting the pressure on the Classic III stethoscope’s bell. Hold the Classic III bell with light pressure to hear the low-frequency sounds. Press a little harder to hear the higher frequency sounds. Description
