The BOWIE DICK Liquid Furnace Indicator Pack - 10PCS consists of porous sheets of paper and in between it bears a marker with chemical blue ink, free of lead and heavy metals. Suitable for sterilization at 134 degrees Celsius. The ink on the marker sheet remains unchanged even after archiving the marker sheet for a long time. There is an interpretative error table of Bowie Dick Tests. The package opens like a matchbox. The color change of the marker sheet is easy and direct to interpret. The package does not open during the test in the furnace and the indicator sheet has the sterilization cycle data printed so that it is ready for archiving. Complete Chemical Vapor Index Comply Steri-Cage 1243A- 500pcs
The Comply Steri-Cage 1243A Chemical Vapor Index from 3M Littmann consists of a strip of paper and a tablet of chemical ink, sensitive to steam and temperature, in a laminated construction of paper/film/aluminum. The tablet melts leaving a black color along the paper strip. This is visible through a window with 2 fields, Accept and Reject (successful/failed). The extent and rate of color flow on the paper strip depends on the presence of steam, time, and temperature. The chemical vapor index is used to control sterilization cycles at temperatures from 120°C to 135°C in vacuum, gravity and flash furnaces. After the process, if the black color has entered the Accept area of the window (accepted), then the sterilization cycle was successful. If the black color has entered the Reject area of the window (not acceptable), then the objects have not been exposed to the required steam sterilization conditions.
