Sterile – simple gauze and adhesive patches

Sterile and simple gauze suitable for wound healing, cleaning and covering. Self-adhesive dressings sterile for placement on the wound. Suitable products for the healing of bedsores. Gauzes and non-woven wound dressings are dry or non-woven sponges and wraps with varying degrees of absorbency, depending on the use. The composition of the fabric can include cotton, polyester or rayon.

Available in sterile or non-sterile, bulk and with or without adhesive contour. Various types of plasters and gauzes include dry or impregnated gauze, plastic films, foam plasters, hydrocolloids, alginates, hydrogels, and polysaccharide pastes. They all provide different natural environments adapted to different wounds. Dry gauze strongly absorbs exudate, the drying of the wound. Hydrocolloids maintain a moist environment and transparent adhesive membrane plasters do not absorb exudate. They aim at gas permeability and exchange, especially with regard to oxygen and water vapour, but also to maintain the optimal temperature to encourage healing.
