Veinspy™ Vein Finder is portable for easy visualization of veins in adults, children, elderly, obese and dark-skinned patients with difficult venous access.
It works with transverse illumination technology: light beams from a circular LED array penetrate the skin and act as a light source to achieve deep illumination of subcutaneous tissues.
Veins in the illuminated area absorb the light and become visible as dark lines.
The Veinspy™ device consists of two sets of colored LEDs: one set emits orange light optimal for superficial veins, another set emits red light to find deeper veins.

How to use VeinSpy™:
1- Wipe the patient’s skin area with an alcohol swab
2- Place VeinSpy™ in the disposable case and turn it on
3- Move VeinSpy™ lengthwise and forward to get a clear view of the specific vein
4- After visualizing the vein, move the device so that the needle can be easily inserted
5- Gently press VeinSpy™ into the vein, through the open end of VeinSpy™ insert the needle into the vein
