The shoulder joint is the most flexible joint in the human body. The comparative advantage of the large range of motion of the joint results in the joint being more susceptible to dislocation, to a greater extent than other joints in the body. Shoulder dislocation is characterized by the exit of the head of the arm from the articular surface of the ovular membrane. A direct consequence is usually the rupture of the labial cartilage and the stabilizing ligaments. and injury to the articular cartilage, bones and even nerves in the area. The clinical picture of shoulder dislocation is characterized by severe pain, inability to move the affected upper limb, which is in a position of small abduction and is held by the normal upper limb.
