Silver nitrate 75% Silverine stick in a pack of 100 pieces with a length of 11.5cm. They are sticks that contain silver nitrate and potassium nitrate at their tip. They are applied topically for chemical cauterization in various fields. Silver Nitrate Sticks are used for hemostasis of smaller hemorrhages such as nosebleeds (epistasis) or e.g. cervical notches after biopsies or where electrocauterization would be uncomfortable and painful. They are often used to remove warts and in the fields of podiatry (e.g. to remove corn). The residual umbilical cord tissue of newborn babies can be easily removed.
Silver nitrate has an astringent, caustic effect. The purpose of using potassium nitrate is to mitigate the effect of silver nitrate.
Each stick contains 75% w/w silver nitrate as an active ingredient.

Description
Application:
Clean the area to be treated. Wet the stick tip by holding its tip for a while (1-2 sec) under dripping water. If there is enough moisture in the area to be treated, it may not be necessary to moisten the stick. The aim is to transfer the limb water, rich in nitrate to the area to be treated. The tip will turn white or light gray and is then ready for use. You should accurately touch the area by dabbing and rolling the edge several times, without rubbing or pressing. This area will discolor and be removed from the surrounding tissue after a few days. Repeat the treatment every 2-3 days until the desired results are achieved. The sticks are for single use only.
Usage:
For the treatment of warts, umbilical cord residue, hypergranulosis, for wound treatment, aphthous stomatitis, superficial hemorrhage hemostasis and nosebleeds.
