Optima splint synthetic splint 10cm x 76cm suitable for placement on the foot. Optima Splint is an orthopedic splint system for temporary immobilization of fractures, sprains and strains.
It consists of multiple layers of casting strips impregnated with polyurethane resin that is activated before use. The strips are enclosed in a protective barrier of non-woven fabric to provide protection for the patient’s comfort.
It cures by simple immersion in water at room temperature, giving us immediately, easily and cleanly an easy-to-use, very light but also very durable splint. It sets in approximately 5 minutes.
OptimaSplint ™ is suitable for contact with the skin and immobilizes bones while protecting wounds. It maintains moisture and controls skin inflammation due to its construction with non-woven material. It provides excellent durability which is the most important feature required in a splint.
