2-Phase Expression® technology. When breastfeeding, babies initially suck with quick, short strokes to stimulate the milk let-down reflex. Once the milk starts flowing, they start to drink more slowly, each at their own pace. Medela’s 2-Phase Expression® technology mimics the baby’s natural breastfeeding rhythm – faster to stimulate milk flow and slower afterwards to ensure optimal breast milk flow.

PersonalFit Flex™ teat. With a 105° angle, soft outer rim and oval shape for a better fit, the PersonalFit FlexTM breast shield puts less pressure on the milk ducts than conventional shields, resulting in a more efficient and comfortable pumping experience.
