Το JALPLAST® εξασφαλίζει ένα ενυδατωμένο, ελεύθερο μικροβίων περιβάλλον στο τραύμα. Το υαλουρονικό οξύ είναι ένας βιολογικός πολυσακχαρίτης (γλυκοζαμινογλυκάνη) και αποτελεί συστατικό των περισσότερων ιστών. Συμμετέχει σε ποικίλες επανορθωτικές λειτουργίες, προάγοντας την επούλωση. Η αργυρούχος σουλφαδιαζίνη είναι ένας πολύ γνωστός αντιμικροβιακός παράγοντας, ο οποίος συμβάλλει στην πρόληψη της μικροβιακής μόλυνσης, υποβοηθώντας τη δράση του υαλουρονικού οξέος να προάγει την επούλωση του τραύματος.
