The Welch Allyn 118-3 PanOptic Plus Eyepiece Head offers brighter and wider vision. The Welch Allyn Pan Optic Plus Ophthalmology Head with Eye Examiner, which has been redesigned to look and feel familiar, has 20 times the viewing area compared to a standard ophthalmoscope. With the addition of Quick Eye™ Alignment Technology, the patient’s gaze direction is enhanced for better alignment of the optical disc. Combined with long-lasting LED bulbs and DuraShock™ technology, An upgrade from the standard or pocket ophthalmoscope is observed to improve eye examinations. The PanOptic Plus ophthalmoscope is compatible with 3.5 V power sources or combines with the Lithium Ion Plus power handle for increased efficiency. The new iExaminer Universal Adjustable for Macroview+ and PanOptic+ is designed to be compatible with most smartphone models.
Its Lithium-Ion rechargeable handle is Welch Allyn’s newest handle and offers twice the battery life of conventional handles. It is compatible with all Welch Allyn 3.5V heads, so that any head can be adjusted on it (otoscope, ophthalmoscope, dermatoscope, etc.)
