The BD Venflon 22Gx25mm intravenous catheter - 50 pcs is equipped with a needle with a cutting hole and a tapered catheter tip, which allows easier insertion and minimizes the risk of vein damage. Each catheter is sterile. The cannula wings are positioned to prevent direct contact of the cover with the skin, which reduces the risk of microbiological contamination. The wings can be covered with dedicated patches (veneer) under the cannula, in this way the cannula is immobilized and can remain safely in the vein lumen. The port cover color code corresponds to the catheter size.
