The EBA 270 centrifuge is practical and suitable for use on samples with small volumes. The centrifuge is supplied with an angle rotor that can hold up to six 15 ml tubes. It is particularly suitable for centrifuging sample tubes containing a separating gel and provides separation results comparable to those of a large centrifuge.
EBA 270 offers optimal separation results and a horizontal separation level (90°) just like that observed with a large centrifuge. This makes the samples optimally prepared for analysis.

EBA 270 is the ideal centrifuge for medical practices. It has a maximum RCF of 2,254. Many gel tube manufacturers recommend centrifuging them in a rotating rotor. With such runners the sedimentation is in the direction of the tube axis, so that the tube contents form horizontal layers of uniform thickness. The sample preparation can then be carried out by the analytical instrument.

The Hettich Haematocrit 200 centrifuge is a fast and efficient centrifuge for determining the hematocrit number. It operates at 13,000 RPM and accommodates up to 24 capillary tubes with a maximum RCF of 16,060. The results can be viewed with the integrated hematocrit reader in the rotor lid.
