Ultrasounds are medical imaging devices, used to capture the size, structure, and pathological lesions of muscles, tendons, and many internal organs in real-time. Ultrasound is also used to visualize embryos during routine and urgent prenatal care.
Principle of operation: inside the body the ultrasound is reflected in the areas where there is a large change in density. The reflected pulse returns to the crystal of the head, which pulsates and produces an electrical impulse, which is reflected on the screen.
